As you might know Nashville (Middle TN) was flooded two weeks ago and more rain today. I am fine but many hurting, most of my old stomping-grounds are in a state of recovery.

Hi Jeff, How can one not like baby ducklings. Good low angle along with even lighting.
When I studied the image I noticed the strong central area of the comp and wanted to emphasize it.
I did lighten some areas of the image...

Great composition and a happy mood.

Cuteness alert!!! Like the pano crop - low shooting angle and exposure is spot on.
Like the OP - Daves repost is also another option.
    Lovely!!

Hi Jeff....good low angle shot...cute as can be! I like both posts! You might consider darkening the edges a bit to bring focus to subjects!

I really like Dave's crop and was thinking the same thing when I initially looked at this. The right and left ducks are a little distracting. Very nice capture and exposure!

Just curious as to why you picked such a low f stop Jeff. Lie the repost by Dave, but would be an awfully small file. Sorry to hear about all the terrible weather you are having.

Jackie, cloudy day and HH'ing the 500 - need shutter speed. I still like to keep the ISO around 500 as well for IQ.

I have only had the MKIV for 2 weeks and it has rained for 9 of those 14 days.

Very cute image. Both yours and Daves repost are very nice compositionally. I do like the way Dave's repost does focus the attention onto those 3 middle chicks.

Cute Jeff. I like the original crop that doesn't focus so much on the .... "tail feathers" of the other birds!
