Another Vulture image from Giants castle.
This image was captured at midday. It was generally overcast but a small gap in the clouds let light through at the right moment. The dark BG is the shaded mountain.
I have had little time in the past month or 2 to spend on the site and I dont think it is going to improve in the next while. But you cant complain when it is busy at the office.

This is super Dave. The bird really pops out from that BG! Super exposure!

Hi Dave, I like the upturned wings, and you have captured a great head turn, and eye contact. Lovely contrast between the vulture and the dark BG, and overall nice and sharp.

Wow! The underwing detail is totally amazing. Great bird, pose, and hop! And with a BKGR to die for.

No flash??? Amazing. I would open up the right side of the bird's face just a bit to make a great image even stronger. Way to go!

Cool pose, good sharpness, light and BG. I agree regarding lightening the face and would tone down the highlights, especially at the top of the head.
