    I don't believe I've ever seen a variagated iris leaf! What a treat, Ovidiu! I like this very much...wonderful abstract feel to it and very pleasing exposure. I even like the way it bends in and out of crisp focus. Very nice!

    Beautiful! I have some of these irises! I will have to watch for backlighting opportunities!

    Very simple, yet effectively presented image, Ovidiu. Would look great in B&W. You might want to give it a try. TFS.

    Julie, I'm not sure if it's about focus in those areas. The iris leaf is quite flat, I've used F10 and try to get paralel to leaf plane. Behind the main leaf stucked there were some new emerging young leaves and I think it is rather about light passing or not through the main leaf. I think it would have been nice to have the entire leaf more evenly backlit.

    Really nice, Ovidiu! The colors and lines in this are beautiful!
    I've never seen an Iris leaf like this before.

    Like all above the colors are very nicely done. The yellows don't overpower the greens (I seem to have trouble with yellows coming out too bright).
    I too like the simplicity of the image.
