    I don't know what species,but it's only about 5mm in length.

    Nice compo, good pose, like the details and sharpness. I like a lot the BG. Very nice image!

    I like it, too, Thomas, although the bug itself is UGLY! I really like the pose and the angle - it's like he's looking back at you.

    I like the FG and the darker area around the edges - you might look into getting the area to the right of the bug to closer match the FG area on the left, still letting that side drop off into the darker area more as that is how the light is falling. Nice catch!

    In 3:1 it's hard to pick the perfect bg,especially handheld as I always shoot.
    I see your point and you're right.I tend to make my images on the spot,and
    uses PS as little as possible.An analog-disease perhaps.:D
