Modifications in CS4 included; Polar Coordinates (P/R orientation), Unsharp Mask, Hue & Saturation and Brightness & Contrast adjustments.

Looks like lava stalagmites in a cavern. I never would have guessed the orig. Like your range of colours Mark from dark to light.
