    Technicals: Canon 1D MkIII, ISO 800, EF500mm + 1.4TC, f/8.0, 1/1600, Hand Held.

    Had a field day with a nesting pair a couple of weeks ago.
    Still want to go to Alaska though.

    I really like the wing position and timing,my only nit
    I would prefered more soft light!

    Some times we can not control the lighting to get the shot. There are ways to help it in raw with lightroom but the shot is an excelent capture, super job.

    I was thinking the same thing. The bright light exposure on the head makes it a point of interest for when you look at the picture you see it right away. Great shot, nonetheless.
