    These kind of shots are pretty common, so it is nice to have a distinguishing aspect. I think you got that in the head position and expression. The eye and slightly open beak adds some character, and of course the wings were caught at just the right time. The exposure is good (maybe a bit of fill under the wings?).

    Hi Stuart, I feel you handled the image very well. Good light,exposure and detail. The wing position is good alond with an interesting perch.
    Would have liked to have seen a bit more room between the horiz bottom branch and the edge of the frame.

    Hi Stuart,,,,Great image! i like it alot...Exposure looks right on! I might darken the left hand side of the perch!
