    Lovely landing posture, and just a pity he turned his head the other way. Overall well exposed and sharp, and I would crop off the bottom to just below the perch.

    I would like to see a bit more detail in the white feathers. I also find that you loose head definition with it placed in front of the light wing. I would also crop a tad tighter to loose the distraction in the lower left corner.

    Great shot there Stuart. Looks super sharp and with great feather detail on the Osprey. If you haven't already, I wonder about lighting up the shadow underneath the right wing? Normally I don't like cropping too tightly myself, but this image could stand it. I like the idea of your second edit, but I wonder about cloning out the end (thinner part) of the branch?
