Great to see one off the ground. I don't see noise worth mentioning, which is pretty impressive for crop sensor and high ISO. Sharpness, angle and BG look good, too. I wish the head were parallel to the sensor and I might raise the color temperature a bit as it looks a tad greenish on my monitor. Maybe this is due to the foliage.

Axel, I agree it does look a bit to green. This was shot under the forest canopy causing the green tint. Here a repost, hope it looks better.

    Thanks

I can't say much about the color temp. Bryan; I am on my laptop. But I like this photo very much. Like the pose with the eye contact, spot on exposure and the super BG. Well done.

The repost is a lot better, the colour was a bit too green on the first. Otherwise, awesome shot, great detail and noise levels appear very good.

Very nicely done. These guys drive me crazy -- I hear them calling incessantly in the woods, but I feel lucky enough just to see them, much less photograph them. To get one with a clear perch off the ground, good light, bg and HA is a real coup. Congrats!
