    Default ruby Throated

this was taken right after a rain storm with a Nikon d2x and Sigma 300-800mm set at 800mm iso 400 shutter 350th and f7.1

    Full Frame as photographed

Processed through Adobe Lightroom and finished in Adobe Photoshop for sizing output and sharpening

I usually shot in adobe color space and open the image in prophoto 16 bit

i will correct for any color cast do a levels adjustment a contrast ajustment and pre output sharpening.

also a hue and sat ajustment if needed

sent to Adobe Photoshop for noise reduction if needed further sharpening as needed and size ing for output and conversion of color space for output

i convert to srgb for web and adobe 98 for print also change mode to 8 bit

Wish you had used a touch off lash for the face. Background makes the bird really stand out.WOW, look at that gorget!

I'm not a fan of branches sticking out of the corners, from the compositional point of view, it tends to emphasize the rectangular shape of the frame.

    Lovely :)

A stunning image of a beautiful bird

Love the background too but not too keen on the ferny leaf

Nevertheless still a lovely image and much much better than anything I can take :-)

Beautiful gorget on this guy! The BG could stand a little NR and I'm not too fond of the OOF leafy thing.
