Late Nesters

This was taken today when the ospreys were gathering nesting material. Most of the nests were nearly finished as the juevies are close to fledging but there was one pair that seem to just be starting the nest building process..

I like the wing position, eye contact and nesting material and would tone down the whites a bit and sharpen the bird more.

Great shot Judy...and the eye contact is perfect. The end of the wing on the right is a bit hot and would look even better balanced with the left if possible. Maybe the feet also? All in all a great image and you are the Osprey whisperer! I was there a couple of days ago...pretty bouncy on the boat with the waves!
