A ground cover plant, again from my front yard. Every couple of years it blooms more than usual, including this Spring where I've never seen it so "flowered up"! It is located right next to and overlapped with the fern I posted a couple of days ago...everything is just so lush this year!! The flower shoots up about 1" above the foliage.

That's about as perfect a composition as I think we're ever going to see. It's beautifully exposed and the pattern of the leaves really holds my interest. I bet this would be a gorgeous print. ;)
Daniel, I love Lamium but I'm so use to seeing it look leggy. This is wonderful. The pattern created by the leaves is so interesting. I like the lighting and the careful placement of the flower.
