Mt first time to Fort De Soto Beach, I know some will say the HA is off and the eye is closed, but I liked the shot -it appeals to me.:)

    Hi Denise,

Not the usual head angle we have come to know and love here in the forum. However, It is my opinion that this presentation has a lot of character and interest due to the slight twisted head and closed eye. If the eye had been open, I do not think the image would have been engaging. It will be interesting to hear other opinions.

On my monitor the image appears just a little flat. An increase in contrast might be something to consider.

    Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Phil, I appreciate the feedback. I boosted the contrast just a bit.

I like the soft light and low perspective here, Denise.

Looks like the surf is getting him. :) Very interesting pose and I too love the low angle and excellent action and detail. Well done Denise.

Denis, I agree with you. Sometimes, to me personally, HA is not everything, it is nice to have the eye contact to draw the viewer, but shots like this one is special.
When did you shoot this? I thought about going there today. :)

Denise, lovely low angle, and he looks like he's falling asleep. The light looks nice and soft, together with the colours. Your repost looks even better.

Head angle police are out in force;). i think this is one fine image as posted. The light is beautiful as is the low angle. the re-post looks fine as well. I think the closed eye adds to the "story".
