Canon 500mm f4 IS x 1.4, ISO 400 , flash 2, EC 0, F 5.6. early 7AM light. Light was so poor I used program mode on my 40D which gave me 1/60 second, F5.6, and I assume flash as main light.

Wow, I just love this image Jeff. The experts may have some suggestions for improvement....but I like it just as it is. Well done.

Perfect look-back pose!! Good clean comp, and nice colours. I like the "low light" feel. My only issue is the tail tip merging with the perch edge (wish it extended past a bit).

    Hi Jeff,
Love it! Pose, HA, bg, feather detail, and all the subtle color changes. Beautiful image. Thanks.

Great job on capturing a striking pose with a clean BG. Only think I can suggest is to lighten it a little. It looks just a tad too dark on my monitor.
