    This guy was certainly a suprise in AZ ! Never even heard of this tanager before going out there with Alan.

    Lou, I like the increased DOF here at f/8. Almost all of the bird is in focus. Wonderful color and background!

    I would say to shift the bird up in the frame to eleminate the dead space at the top, leaving a little more space for the greenery from the perch at the bottom in the process. However, you need room for the magazine title. :) Well done!

    Lou, I never saw one of these before so TFS such a beauty. Seems just a bit tight on the bottom to me. Fantastic capture and the perch is lovely. I might tone it and the greenery down a touch so it doesn't compete with the bird. Nice pose and details. Congrats!!:)

    Excellent shot, great pose, colours. Composition is excellent. A lovely scene.
