Hi Rachel Thanks for contributing to the motif !!!

That is one big foot I like the low perspective and selective focusing, conversion to B&W gives it a special feel, not fond of conversion for most but this works in a big way !!!! Big Congrats !!!

Hi Rachel - Interesting image - a little more sharpening perhaps - the white leaf under the foot draws my attention away from the rest of the image - being the brightest part of the image - that is were the viewers attention tends to go straight away.
    Good show:)

Thanks Al, glad you like it. Lance - here's another attempt. I added some more sharpening in DPP before conversion and then tried to deal with the leaf in PS Elements through darkening of highlights on the selected leaf and then a little cloning where hotspots remained. Let me know if this works or if there was another way I should have done this. Thanks, Rachel

Lovely image Rachel. It looks good in B/W, the low angle looks great!

Hi Rachel - repost looks better to my eye's. my eye is not drawn to the leaf straight away.

Love how you place the foot in the frame which create diagonal line, like your choice of B&W which emphasis on texture of the foot. Like the environment around the end of the foot, give me cozy feeling. I like the repost better too.
