Ken, This appeals to me very much, the softness and the colors are beautiful. I also like the framing.

Ken, I love the flower and the treatment that you have given it. The frame is a little heavy for my taste.
    Best,

    Nice image and application, Ken.

    Nice color.

Like the frame. It offsets the colors well and makes them shine. I find black is great with bold colors.

I love he colors and textures, and (gasp!), I even like the frame. A nice crop from the top and the right would move the flower center away from the center and result in what I feel would be a far stronger image design (of the same proportions). I would crop it but I would lose the frame... Ah, I can't stand it. Will show you without the frame and if you like it better or at all you can frame it :)

I think that I was very right :) Maybe a hair less of the top and a bit more of the bottom....

    LOL! :)

I also think you were right! This definitely looks better.

I'm not big on frames but this design fits nicely on the shots I have on my web site so I have it setup as a PS action. It's easy to apply which is why I sometimes use it.

Ah, my favorite words <smile> It's just the rule of thirds.... If you have a minute, I would love to see the repost (or something close to it) framed. (I hate most frames.)

Ken, I love the lines - it looks like a winding staircase. I like your original with the frame but Artie's cropped image without the frame (go figure:))

Beautiful curving composition, Ken, and Artie's crop definitely improves it nicely. I like the frame, it goes well with the bold orange color of the rose. Very nicely done.
