    Taken off 49th street just South of the Bayside Bridge in St. Petersburg, FL just as the sun was setting.

    Nikon D70
    Shutter Speed - 1/250 sec
    Exposure Program - Aperature Priority
    F-Stop - F/6.3
    ISO - 250
    Focal Length - 440mm

    An excellent shot Philip I like the pose and eye contact the Osprey is giving you. Also the perch has some character to it and adds to the image. If you can without losing to much detail try cropping this in alittle tighter. This image might also work on a vertical. Just a thought. Well Done!!!!

    Great light. I agree that a tighter crop might be nicer. Well shot.

    Nice work. I like the evening light and the composition. There are a couple thing that I would change to improve (in my opinion) this image. I'd crop out the the bump in the branch towards the bottom of the frame. I'd also do some color correction. This looks like it has a bit of a green/yellow cast. I've attached a modified image, modified the crop and color. I used selective color and pulled a lot of yellow out of the yellows and whites.
