A beautifully designed image with loverly colors and all the curves in the right places. Purple and yellow make a great combo.

Beautiful image, Denise, but I find myself wishing that front curved petal's edge were more in focus. I really like the swirls of color here.

It is a wonderful swirl of colors! I also think I would have preferred the focus to be on the edge of that front petal.

Thanks folks, For me the interest was the raised area in the center of the petal not the outer edge. Thank you all for your comments. Much appreciated.

Glorious colors and curls. Very nicely captured. Would not change anything. Where are Dahlias blooming so early?

Judy and Anita thank you both very much for the kind words.
Anita these are hot house grown Dahlias that one of my growers sells in 6" pots.

denise, Enjoy the way the curls are repeated. Intense hues but a very soothing image.

That's interesting. The raised area is the first thing that I noticed. It has an inviting softness to it. I also like the way that the composition flows. The colors ain't bad either
