    This was taken in Mashatu Game Reserve in Botswana. Its a Pearl Spotted Owlet (I think). Removed a few branches and brightened up some shadows. I thought it was a lovely bird and the framing was nice .

    Very cool image, Michael. I also like how the bird is framed and the fact that the head is turned 180 is a real plus. I might remove the OOF FG branch to the right of the Owl and do a CW rotation to stand the owl up staight. Nicely done.

    Hi Michael - like this - agree with peters suggestions - like the bg, has a graveyard feel about it.
    Might try a little shadow/highlight on the RHS of the bird particularly the eye - the over the shoulder look back is cool.
