Beautiful image captured at just the right time. I love the details and the BG makes this pop. Might want a little less on the right side.

I do like this image very much. The pose gives the photo a uniqueness/interest (not just the bird sitting there). Detail and sharpness, background, eye contact, color - all nicely done. Love the detail in the wings.
Agree with above, I might try to crop the right side more. Maybe a more vertical crop?

Really well done - great timing. Sharp details where it counts and lovely bkgd
In hind-sight, a higher ISO and f-stop might have helped DOF for the back wing and tail.
Agree with perhaps cropping a bit off the right side

Raymond, Beautiful soft gradient BG. I like the details and nice pose w/ raised wings and good HA.
Nice to see you posting again.:)

thanks everyone, I guess the extra space is a personal preference for me, I like this style., and low iso gives me the clean image, prefered over dof in most cases., again, personal style. Thanks for the suggestions, it is always cool to read other peoples opinions.

Beautifully captured Ray! I don't mind the bit of wing motion. As for the room on the right, I think I agree with you...leave it -- I wouldn't like to see this centred and reducing just a little might make it look funny. I guess I don't have any suggestions. Cheers!
