    Location of photograph was NW of Iran.




    canon 40D, Sigma 300-800 f/5.6
    f/6.3, 1/1600s, iso 200,+1/3 stop, 800mm

    I like the running pose and that the bird is coming your way. I would try to get more details in the blacks and wish the shadow on the bird's back were not there.

    Great colours and looks quite dynamic as if it is running but I wonder if this wasn't part of a wing stretch as the water is undisturbed. I might clean up some of the OOF sticks in the water.

    It was not running to me, it just get running pose for stablity against wind, the water drop show that.
    Another flying bird make shadow on back of flamingo.It was a chance.
