I like the comp here. Several plug-ins will allow you easily post the exif data for your images which will help folks do more thorough critiques. With the Firefox plug-in you right click the image and you get an option to copy EXIF. When you paste it, it looks like this: (from your image)

    Camera Make: Canon

    Camera Model: Canon EOS 20D

    Image Date: 2006:05:22 17:28:07

    Flash Used: No

    Focal Length: 70.0mm

    CCD Width: 2.74mm

    Exposure Time: 0.125 s (1/8)

    Aperture: f/8.0

    ISO equiv: 400

    Exposure Bias: -1.00

    White Balance: Auto

    Metering Mode: Matrix

    Exposure: aperture priority (semi-auto)

Nice, pleasing colors and like how you've shown the elephant's home. I like the vetical crop as well but would like to see it a bit wider to include more of the big tree on the right (as viewed)

Would love to see this posted larger up to the 800 px limit... A nice environmental image that show habitat. I might even have prefered a little wider view.
