    I took this shot this evening. I liked the head on pose this cute little Ruddy gave me.

    Nikon D300 AFS 600 F4 1.4 TC.

    1/1000 F6.3 ISO 400
    SB-800 FF -1. Comp.

    Very cool pose, indeed !
    And very nicely captured as well ! Congrats !

    Might consider taking just a bit off the right side to put the center of the head dead center in the frame.

    Great image. It's easy to get a blurred bill in these head-on shots but you had just the right amount of DOF to get it sharp without sacrificing the sweet bokeh. The exposure perfect and I love the pose. I will second the motion on a better 'center' of your subject. Excellent work.

    Hi James!

    A very powerful image, and I echo all the comments above. It is ironic :) for me to even see this, but on my monitor, I see some noise in the background, and maybe a blue halo under the wings.

    Superb....great image! So sharp and the lighting is wonderful. And the pose, of course....is fantastic!
