A beautiful morning light in one of the best days I have ever enjoy photographing birds. I love the textures of the rocks in this marine cliff where kestrels (Falco tinnunculus) were breeding. The bird were really cooperative and I have several images with the bird bigger in the frame but I prefer this one that shows the beautiful place that they choose to live.
Your comments and critics are always wellcomed :)

I like the pose and inclusion of habitat, the surroundings is a bit too much IMO and overpowers the bird, I would crop tighter and go with rules of 3rds comp-wise, but that's just my own taste.
    well done, TFS

Thank you guys for the comments and suggestions, much apreciated :)
Kiran, the blue area is not the sky but the sea ;)
Arash, I see what you mean and I have closer images of this guy in which th ebird is bigger in the frame but I prefer this one because the texture of the rockas and the fact that the main subject, the kestrel, is almost unnoticed at first sight and you have to discover it in the image :)

Oh my Juan what a find and in this image I love your choice of composition. Really shows the size and vastness of this rocky ledge and then the awesome beauty of this little kestrel. Really love this one Juan !!!

Juan, I love your eye and this is very nicely composed. The bit of sea coming through the rock is special.

Hi Juan, magic light, and certainly shows off the texture of the rock face. Is the kestrel a juvvie, as he looks fairly small.

Thanks Juan. I know these guys are not that big, but maybe it was the distance here, that made my eyes think he was smaller than he actually was.

Juan, I liked the comp a lot. I just feel it would have been better if the Kestrel was looking into the frame. But as-is, its awesome too.

It is delightful to see a different perspective, very lovely as presented. KD, actually, I think it looks better with the bird looking at the smaller mass of rock, more balanced than if it were looking to the bigger mass, IMO.

Hi Juan, I am late to the party but wanted to let you know that I really like this image. For my taste it is pretty much perfect as presented. The harsh textures and lines of the rock face offer a strong contrast to the softness of the bird's feathers (which is not meant to mean that the image is soft). Again I think this is great! Thanks for sharing.
