Mike, great details of the bird. Not sure if the crop works though.

this is very nice, love the details and clean water, soft light is great. Would leave room for virtual feet in bottom

Light is great but the bird is a bit centered in the frame to my taste and I would go for a wider crop (in the case this is a crop, of course ;))

I would agree: I think this image definitely needs a bit more room around the bird. The bird is a bit too prominent. But the details, lighting on the bird are fantastic.

    Mike:

The birds head angle worked well with the light off to your left to give nice illumination and definition to the plumage. Agree about the crop being too tight. I would loosen it up all the way around, esp. to right.

    Cheers

    Randy
