    Default Heron at Sundown

    Took this today in very golden light. The Sun was just about past the horizon. I kept with a wider view because of the way the tree framed the Heron. Thank you for looking.

    I like your idea of keeping the green stuff in the right to frame the image but the heron is too centered in the composition. A touch of additional saturation would be great in my opinion :)

    Hi Cory,
    I also like the idea of keeping the branches on the right but I agree with Juan that as presented the bird is too centered for my preference. I also think the image could go lighter/brighter but that would change the mood of the late sun. I wish the head were angle a bit more towards us. Thanks for sharing.
