    Default CS5 Switching 64/32

Just installed CS5 in my laptop Intel 17 inch MacBook Pro Did the Snow Leopard updated etc When going to the info window to switch from 32 to 64 the box is not there? Went back to the desktop and is there ... any clues of why this is happening. Not sure wish I'm running now and tried installing Nik without success.

Al there are quick start icons for both versions. I have both on the desktop. I am on a windows laptop, but what I did is go in the Programs-Adobe folders and found the shortcuts for each. One will say CS5 64-bit when you roll your cursor over it. None of the niksoftware worked for me in the 64-bit version, at least for me. If anyone has any other suggestions please jump in:).

Al, do you have the unibody MBP with black keys? The one with silver keys has an older Intel processor that doesn't support 64-bit. Isn't that a great excuse to buy a new laptop? :)

Hi Axel My keyboard is silver I just could not figure out why it does not have the box for the 32/64 On the desktop it gave it ... reason I want to make sure I'm on 32 is to install Nik Tried from the disk, said it was installed but nothing shows in the filters

Hi Nancy Will look for them, haven't found them yet !!

That's odd, since it is running in 32-bit mode, the Nik plugins should run fine.

Al I do not think you can switch without closing one and opening up the other. If there is please someone chime in. I just have the two icons, one for 32-bit and one 64-bit. Al when you are opening the program the splash screen on the left will have whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit.

Hi Nancy I managed to transfer all my plug ins (most) to CS5 but still can't see the icons, the strange part is that the I used the same disk for the desktop computer ... and btw did the OS updated to the latest which recommended for best performance. On Fabs you can go to info and the option for 32/64 ist there ..... strange !!!

Axel will let you take a peak when you come down !!! ... hope to have the iPad by then, right now we have the dock but no iPad :)
