    Default Laptop Screen Angle

    Hi Folks

Have been using 2 laptops for about a year now, and could never get the correct viewing angle consistently. Noticed a very small article on the Acretech viewing angle guage in a camera magazine article last week, and now, for less than 15 bucks my problem has vanished. This very simple and neat guage can be seen at http://acratech.net/product.php?productid=70&cat=4 and IMHO is the cats meow. Even came in red, the color of one of my laptops.

Even if you don't buy one, you can still see their neat forum on where to shoot photos. http://acratech.net/where-to-shoot/

    Keep smiling

Most laptops use TN type LCD/TFT screens which are fine for email and games but the worst of all types, TN, IPS, VA, PVA, for photo work.
Here's a site where you enter the monitor and it shows back the screen at different viewing angles. But does not have laptops, just stand alone monitors but still gives you the look for the monitor types. Cute - http://www.digitalversus.com/duels.p...49&ma2=71&ph=8
And here is another site that discusses monitor types with emphasis on photo work -
