It was a beautiful morning at the Venice Rookery. I'm not sure of the crop on this one and know the background is a bit cluttered but did like the pose.

I like the open wing pose captured Gayle on this Anhinga I just wish the light angle was more direct lighting up the lower part of the body and wing. Still a very nice shot....
Gayle, nice colors and detail. The Rookery was very late getting started, but it's nice to see it beginning to pick-up.
