    Default Osprey on the Nest

I have a huge backlog of images to post! This one is from my trip to Florida several months ago, and was taken from Jim Neiger's boat. I love the metallic look of the brown feathers on Ospreys.

You captured the colors and sheen very well. I like the alert expression she is giving you.

Lots of detail and nice eye contact. A bit tight at bottom for me.

I agree with you on the shoulder´s shine Doug but the eye contact and soft shine in the bill are also killer. :)

Excellent sharpness Doug, and just love that big eye. I know with your skills, you could easily remove the twig across the chest ;)

Great looking osprey. Agree about the nice metallic sheen of the feathers. I wish that branch was not ''touching'' the breast, a great image anyhow.

I definitely thought about removing the twig, but decided to leave it. Maybe I'll take a crack at removing it. Thanks for the advice!
