It was interesting to watch this GBH try to figure out how to take this big load to the nest. It tried to break it up but couldn't. Then went through a process of balancing the load, which he achieved before taking flight.

Hi Oscar,Good subject and nice placement within the frame. I feel the image might be a bit oversaturated. I might reduce it somewhat. I also noticed noise in the backround so I might run some NR.
There are a few lighter areas on the bottom right. Not really distinguishable to me...
Hi Oscar - agree with Dave - there is lots to like here.
I am seeing a halo around much of the bird probably from over sharpening.
Might be worth posting the original with no post processing - One of us will make some tweaks and repost for you I am sure.
Hi Oscar Cool bird carrying a large load ... always desirable !!!
Might want to look at the histogram, feel it will show under exposure? .. minus .3 pointing at the sky will do it !! To expose the wings properly you will be blowing the head area, soft light is about the only way.
Wing position wise would like seeing the wings all the way up or down, the bent position is not as attractive !!
Guys, you are awesome! Your C/C's are on point and I appreciate your
interest in help me and others become better photogs. I am going out
tomorrow to play with the new knowledge you have given me. Keep up the good
work!
Very interesting story and the picture clearly show the big branch, excellent. Great comment given by others. One more thing to add about bird in flight is that if the bird flies through different background then many prefer to use Manual exposure mode, so as long as the light source (usually sun behind your back) doesn't change your exposure on the bird will be correct regardless of what background the bird is flying through.
