    I like the square framing and composition. Very nice color and love the DOF. Great image!

    Ken, The overall look here is lovely. I do see a few bright spots I'd tone down and some edge clean up but WOW it sure is gorgeous. I might crop some off the bottom if it were mine.

    Blacken in that halo around the edge and give the whites a second look and you have one beautiful peony image! I think I'd prefer this with a 180 degree turn so it's facing up but that's just me. It's also lovely as presented.

    What a gorgeous Peony! You use black BGs to great advantage. What caused the halo around the edge? Great image, color and light! To my delight, my peony has many buds--the first time ever!

    I'm not sure what caused it but I've gone back and brushed it away. I'd post the results but right now I'm sitting in the Mississippi State vet school waiting room while one of our horse boarders is in for surgery.:(
