    Default Green Heron Nest Update

The Green Heron nest I have been monitoring at Wakodahatchee Wetlands is becoming more active as the nestlings, as of today, are 13 days old. They are beginning to venture out of the nest onto nearby branches. Here is one of the little ones (not so little) as it leaves the security of the nest for a nearby branch.

And I was excited that I was able to get images of an adult green heron!

    This is wonderful, Milt!

Here is Mama Green Heron on a nearby branch, surveying the scene.

Very nice, you captured the venture feeling very well. The chick seem a bit nervous walking on the branch :D Interesting to see all the furry feather. If possible maybe a lower angle and a little separation between the chick on the branch and the background one.

Lucky you to see these little birds.

Hi - Just some NR on the background for me - think you made the best you could given the restraints.
A little texture sharpening would be all for me.
    Good show :)

    Hi Milt,They certainly grow fast!
Agree with Lance on the technicals. Not easy working an image with no distractions in that environment.
