    Default Cheap Good Monitor?

    is there such thing? looking for something to connect to a mini mac. 20-24". less than $300.

    see the dell st2210 and the st2310. any comments about either of these?

    thanks everyone. trying to build an economical apple system for the wife.

    all ideas much appreciated.

    Dell 2209wa. Now listed at $309. Used to be about $279. Call them. Tell them you want a discount, period. Ten to one you'll get it.

    Depends on what use you want the monitor for. There are several LCD/TFT technologies used for both stand alone monitors and on laptops. The TN type being the most common and fine for email and games but worst of all for photo work. The IPS type is considered best of the LCD/TFT types for photo work but much higher $$$.
