Image was created late March, in Homer, AK. I was trying for a few more different images before my drive back to Anchorge. After 4 days, once again I hated to leave. I thought another 15 minutes would be my limit. This Eagle came in fast and I was able to get 2 images. I cropped this image into a pano and it really hit me as being something different.
    Nikon D2X, Nikon 70-200VR with 1.4ext, manual exposure 1/1000 @ f 8, ISO 400. Snow on ground.
    Thanks for your comments.:)

Very different and works for me

I like the eye placement in frame and sharpness Sure wish that bird had the wing up a bit Would have been all in frame and just over the head Would suggest cloning the dark mass under wing for a clean lower edge The little branches on bg are fine !!!

I like this a lot! I agree on getting rid of the dark spot in the lower right corner.
