    Took this near Rodeo, NM in late afternoon.
    5D MKII, 300mm 2.8, 1.4TC,
    f5.6, 1/2500, 400ISO,
    cropped, B/C.
    Just returned a week ago from traveling around the southwest for the last 3 months. Hope to participate more in forum now that I'm back.

    Nice near wing position wish for slightly better HA and far wing not merging with head. colors are a bit muted and it looks a bit grainy which is unsual for 5D at such low ISO, did you pull up the exposure in post?

    Joe, Nice underwing detail. I agree that the head merging with the back wing is not desirable and wish for a better head angle. Still better than any I have on this species:)
