Default Stuart and Dumay - Lunch at Mankwe

Another image from the trip Stuart Bowie arranged to Pilanesberg. The Mankwe hide is huge with excellent padded seating all the way around. It is more of a covered viewing platform than a typical birding hide with wide viewing opportunities. A large variety of birds including 3 varieties of kingfisher. Also a range of game including zebra, rhino, crocodiles, hippo. We were there on Easter Sunday so it was relatively busy but never crowded. The day was very well catered from the food perspective too!

Just for the record, thats not my lunch box. LOL. Tony ate all mine, and I went without. ;) Did you manage to get a shot from within the hide showing from one end to the other. If not, Im going up in a few weeks time.

I didn't get one of the whole hide, Stuart. Maybe you can post one. Envious of your upcoming trip.
