    Default Textured Bluets

I had posted this shot awhile back in the macro forum here. Jules had suggested I try texturizing it so that's what I did here. I used four of my textures using screen, multiply, and overlay blending modes. I also cloned out the moss stems that were in the original and darkened the white area in the BG. Your comments and suggestions would be most appreciated.

Christopher, The texture looks awesome and the colors are really nice. The image still has that large white oof spot in the middle. I think if you were to break it up a bit this would really sing. I love the cracked, scratched, linen, vintage look to the texture-did you create it or download it? It's lovely.

Very nice composition, Christopher. Excellent texture and colors. I too feel breaking it up will enhance this image even further. TFS.

Thanks for the comments, Denise and Indranil. I appreciate it. Here's a repost with the OOF white area broken up more. Hopefully this looks better.

Denise, all four textures that I used on this were ones that I created from my many texture photos.

Great job with the textures, Christopher, and I like the repost a lot. Nicely composed, too.

Lovely work and the repost is super! Your textures really add to the image's appeal. Love the echoes of the flowers in the background.

I like this textured version more than the original posted on the Macro forum. And, the repost is even better. Beautiful use of textures!!!
