Nice color and eye contact. Looks like it could use just a little rotation.

Agree with Dan. Looks a bit lopsided. Other than that, very nice capture. Congrats!

Hi Don, nice image. I don't see the need for rotation. I do suggest cropping from the top. Also see no need to keep all of the trunk (horizontally), though you seem to have deliberately kept it complete, as suggested by the large space behind the bird. I would crop from the right to reduce that space, and place the bird off-center. The rightmost whites in the head, both above and below the eye, seem blown on my laptop, but the exposure on the body looks just fine. Need some BG NR, IMO. I like the sharpness from beak to tail.

Is this a Montezuma quail? I don't understand what you mean by "Joe Over Street Quail"?

Thks Ricardo, i think i'l run another NR for sure, crop idea solid as well, as for whites, rechecked, them and levels so no over exposed, or blown whites, quite simple to check, with a quick pass in ACR withthe cursor, actually shows you your numbers... thks for sharing... Appreciate it ! Not sure on the exact species name though!

Hi Don, glad to learn that the whites are not blown (know the procedure for checking but was with my laptop and relied solely on my old eyes). Again, beautiful image of a nice bird.
