    The Sparrow was feeding on the ground and dropped down into a hole in the snow.
    I turned up the flash a tad and created a bit different portrait.

    Canon 1dMk2N
    Canon 600 f4 IS
    Canon 1.4 tc
    Canon 580 EX II
    ISO 320
    f9
    No ambient comp, spot metering.
    -1 EV
    Flash ETTL

    Impressive, Andreas. You know I always like your vision adn this is no exception. Maybe place him closer to the upper left corner?

    Different that's for sure. I just wish the way the bird merged into the snow was better, especially at the chest/shoulder area. Quite unique though...props for seeing this opportunity - very dreamy feel to it.

    Man, I love that. Unique. Love the head angle and the sharpness, and of course the snow. Wonderful creative eye.
