I created one sharp and one defocused image with the Canon 800mm f.5.6 L IS lens and the EOS-1D MIV. I put the soft one on the top and then erased the center. I think :) Well, it is a flower.

Artie, I like the idea and works very well... feels almost like the sun's corona with solar flares around it :D (finally watched 2012 on DVD!). I love the colors and the bg blur.

I use this technique quite a bit, Artie, though I create the blurred image in PS instead. Love the colors and the glowing feel to the sunflower. Works perfectly! :)
