Theme Winners!

Well, I did a lot of head scratching this week with the different interpretations and consistently good images! We could easily give awards to every entrant, but... Here are my top three picks this week:

First place - Hoe Down by Nicki Gwynn Jones - Excellent combination of base image and thematic treatment as well as humor. Congratulations Nicki!

Second place - Portrait of an Owl by Indranil Sircar - I felt that both versions of this one represented the sketch theme very well and the image has a lot of dramatic impact. Well done Indranil!

Third place - Sandpiper Sketch by William Maroldo - The subtle Fractalius technique made a lovely basis for a sketch on this one. Very nice Bill!

Congratulations to the winners and to all the entrants! Thank you all so much for your participation and for sharing your work flows. Should be some great images of flowers in the coming week! :)
