    Hi Oscar, I haven't seen these birds before. Are they rare, or am I just clueless? (probably the latter). Actually, I was not aware of this species until your post, so thanks for sharing this image and expanding my knowledge and perhaps that of others. BTW, I could only find two types of Ani in my iBirds software: the groove-billed ani, which lives in Mexico and seasonally in the Gulf coast from Texas to northern Florida, and the smooth-billed ani, found only is southern Florida all year.

    Hi Oscar, I haven't seen this species either on any of my trips to Florida. Good low angle along with even lighting.
    Would prefer a small amount more room on the rt and if so inclined take out a couple of bright blurred white flowers in the rear.

    hI oZ - cool looking bird - like the included habitat and would also remove the flowers Dave is reffering to.
