Taken this morning in the fog and drizzle on the marsh at Allens Pond Mass Audubon Sanctuary. It is the monthly walk celebrating an Audubon exhibit at the New Bedford Art Museum. Since my pants was already wet I knelled in the mud to capture this picture. minimal PS adjustment and crop. Nikon D300s Sigma 150-500

    Nice image!
the twigs in the bkgr are a bit distracting, but i like the red and green things on the ground!
You could try some selective sharpening/ contrast masking on the bird to improve it, IMO, as it lacks contrast...

I like the pano crop and the pose and the bird. Did some Patch Tool clean-up, noise reduction, and contrast & brightness work.

Great shot, and the repost is definitely an improvement. I also like the pano format. Perhaps a lower shooting angle would have helped bring the bird out, but if you where already down on the mud, not much else to be done! Regardless, a nice setting for it, so not too much of an issue. A beautiful bird as well!

A different setting for this beautiful bird. The re-post helps the image alot. Tough BG to work with. very nice detail in the bird.

YAW. When I use the Patch Tool, it sometimes leaves little marks on the edges. So I use the Patch Tool on the marks by making a skinnier selection.
