Nice capture Jim. The posture captures what i sharpening - exposure, composition good. If I had more room to the right I would include just a tiny bit more.

I like it very much, the pose and expression is great, the wings are captured really well here.
Nice clean beach and BG adds too.

The pose is really terrific here Jim. I love that he is airborne and the wing positions. I agree that moving the bird ever so slightly toward the center of the frame would be nice if you have the room.

Excellent shot! The behaviour makes the bird stand out very nicely from the muted setting. A great colour scheme as well. I feel that a little more room on the RHS would be nice, maybe take a teeeny bit from the left, but other than that, a fabulous shot capped off by some awesome behaviour :)

Some minor changes mentioned , but still one fine image. Great action captured. Spot on exposure as well.

    Jim:

Techs mentioned. Great pose/action, strong sense of what is happening.

I like that the bird is not cut in half by shore line.

    Cheers

lovely image, capturing the bird with it's beak open and still partially airborne really make the image .. I can almost hear the squawk

Jim, Very nice action captured. I like the feet position and the open beak. Very nice details. I like your composition choice it looks good in the frame to me as presented.

I really like the timing on this shot with the out stretched feet, wings and head.

Composition looks very nice to me.

Great action. Like how you included plenty of space in front of the bird.
