    Default Reflection

I had taken this image of the Long-billed Dowitcher in the morning light. Calm water provided good reflection. For the processing, desatured, then used find edges followed by fade with lower opacity and linear dodge. Applied selective colors for neutral, and contrast. Layer mask to open up a bit of low layer colors and then used Topaz simplify to get this final look. Hope you like it... your c&c will be appreciated.

Very nice effect Indranil. I like the reflection and the line of vegetation into the water.

Indranil, I agree w/ Julie I like the reflection and the line of the vegetation. The high key BG and look to the image is very nice. I think that the OOF stuff on the left edge is a tiny bit distracting. It also needs a slight rotation. I like this very much and feel that it is a wall hanger w/ some minor tweaks. Nicely done.:)

    Hi Indranil,
I too like this very much - I particularly like the introduction of the soft colours. Very nicely done.
    Best,

I like it--ALOT, but it could be much improved.... Needed 3.79 dergrees CW rotation (good eye by Denise), a bit of trimming, a bit of filling in the whites, and a small contrast mask for sharpening.

    Whaddya think?

Artie, thank you so much for showing this. It is beautiful and like it. I was working on it at the same time! The contrast boost definitely helps. I have fixed it on the master.

Thanks Denise for the suggestions. I missed the rotation :)

Glad that you liked the fixes :) And YAW. I also cropped out some of the distracting left stuff as Denise suggested. Smart lady with a good eye.
