Michael, I like the DOF here, and I would maybe tone down the head just a tad.

Sweet perspective and do like the high key look !!! Would take a little from the top?

    Thanks all.

Stuart- I'm not sure I can tone the gator down. There's no color data in the silvery part. It's a reflection of the overcast sky. It made the alligator difficult to see at first even though he's pretty big.

Thanks Alfred. That's the full frame so a little of the top is completely doable. I was considering either a 10x10 crop or an 8x10 crop.

    A nice equipment combo.

Taking off a bit from the top, as suggested by Alfred would strengthen the composition. Thanks for sharing.

Hik Michael Crop wise I don't even try cropping to a proportion, jus to best crop. I know it will be a pain for framing since you would need custom frames, for everyday frames I just mount of 1/2 foam board flus ! Looks great, inexpensive and easy to hang. They are not protected by glass or anything but if damaged just re print !!
