Sweet capture Troy Days without wind do give killer reflections Like the timing, water around beak looks fine !!! .. might look at histogram and could be slightly under? Should have info on fifth box to the right. Would lighten the reflection a little bit .. bird could go a little lighter or leave as is, image has a good feel !!!

Thanks Al. I would like too see your version. Don't hesitate to do a quick edit and repost.
Original shot was over as most of the whites were blinking. Must be my editing skills :)

Hi Troy Sorry I didn't re post, late and heading to bed :)

I would have done just what you did on your re post, for most reflections I tend to lighten the reflection. You have about one stop difference with full sun. If you have a white bird in full sun with killer reflection just skip the bird and shoot the reflection, will tame contrast and whites look great !!!

Density wise for the bg is just feel, what you want the image to feel like !! Excellent !!!

    Very nice image Troy.
I really like the ripples as they add to the symmetry of the shot and perfect timing.

Thanks. And I will try that next time when I have this chance again on the white bird.
No problems, I took some advise and applied them, and it looks more natural.
    Thanks.
