    Another elk from Yellowstone bugling, this one was close to the park headquarters. Rainy, dark and cold day end of September !!

    Hi Al....i like the bg and the oblique foreground works for. The elk is sharp as a tack! Great shot! Like it alot!
    have you considered flipping it horizontally?

    Alf, the elk really stands out against the background, almost looks unreal like a Bateman painting.

    Hi Al, comp works well, and I like the calling pose. The soft light has brought out the fur detail nicely, and the elk certainly does stand out against the mountain BG.
